Recap: Troy vs. SE Missouri St

Chattanooga, TN (Sports Network) - Emil Jones scored 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Troy to a 59-56 win over Missouri State in a subregional matchup of the 2012 CBE Hall of Fame Classic.

Antoine Myers added a team-high 14 points and Hunter Williams scored 10 for the Trojans (3-2), who finished the round robin portion of the tournament with a 2-1 record.

Corey Wilford poured in a game-high 20 points while Tyler Stone and Nick Niemczyk poured in 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Redhawks (3-3), who finished with a 1-2 record in the tournament.

Williams' 3-pointer with 3:31 left put Troy up 56-47, but SEMO did not go down with out a fight.

The Redhawks buried three straight triples to knot it up at 56-56, but Myers' three-point play with six seconds left put the Trojans up 59-56.

Lucas Nutt's 3-ball at the buzzer was no good and Troy escaped with the win.

James Madison has opted out of a scheduled game at Liberty on Sept. 26 to play FBS opponent SMU, but the two FCS programs have agreed to seek future scheduling opportunities.
