Santa Clara, CA (Sports Network) - Kevin Foster scored a game-high 22 points as the Santa Clara Broncos posted a 70-60 win over the Pepperdine Waves in West Coast Conference action at the Leavey Center.

Brandon Clark added 15 points for the Broncos (19-8, 7-5 WCC), followed by Evan Roquemore who tallied 10 points, six rebounds and five assists as they won their second straight outing.

Pepperdine (12-14, 4-9) was paced by Jordan Baker with 18 points and six boards, but he also turned the ball over five times before fouling out as the team had a two-game win streak snapped. Stacy Davis and Jett Raines pitched in with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

SCU made good on 57.7 percent from the field in the first half, including 6- of-12 behind the 3-point line, as it claimed a 39-30 advantage at the break. Pepperdine remained within striking distance thanks to a 12-of-13 showing at the free-throw line.

In the second half the Broncos dipped to just 37.0 percent from the floor, 2- of-11 beyond the arc, but still the team played well enough at the defensive end of the floor to pick up the double-digit win.

The Waves finished the night shooting only 1-of-7 on the perimeter.
