Recap: Chattanooga vs. Troy

Chattanooga, TN (Sports Network) - Antoine Myers led four Trojans in double figures with 13 points as Troy bested the visiting Chattanooga Mocs, 68-61, in sub-regional action of the 2012 CBE Classic at McKenzie Arena.

Myers was 5-of-8 shooting from the floor and 3-of-3 from the free throw line in the Trojan (2-2) victory. Hunter Williams and R.J. Scott added 12 points a piece, while Deonata Jethroe contributed 11 points.

Drazen Zlovaric recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Mocs (1-3). Ronrico White had a game-high 14 points shooting 5-of-10 from the floor

The first half ended with the Trojans owning a 30-25 lead. Both teams struggled from beyond the arc. The Trojans shot 3-of-15 while limiting the Mocs to 1-of-10 from three-point range.

Both teams elevated their shooting percentages in the second half but the Trojans would go 6-of-12 from beyond the arc to help seal the win.

Despite Chattanooga dominating the glass, 47-30, the Trojans would hold the Mocs to just 36.2 percent shooting from the floor.
