Recap: Middle Tennessee vs. Ark-Little Rock

Murfreesboro, TN (Sports Network) - Neiko Hunter scored 15 points to lead the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders to an 82-50 victory over the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans in a Sun Belt Conference clash at the Murphy Center.

Shawn Jones scored 12 points off the bench and Marcos Knight hit 2-of-3 from behind the arc en route to 11 points as the hosts (15-4, 7-1 Sun Belt) won their fourth straight game. Tweety Knight and Raymond Cintron each delivered 10 points off the bench.

Josh Hagins scored 14 points to lead the Trojans (11-9, 5-4) while Kemy Osse scored 11 off the bench. UALR made just three 3-pointers as a team on 11 attempts.

UALR led 10-8 at the 14:14 mark of the opening period but was outscored 28-7 the rest of the way as the home team led 36-17 at halftime. The Trojans shot just 30.4 percent from the floor and turned the ball over 12 times in the half.

Middle Tennessee refused to let up and never led by less than 17 points in the second half. It shot 65.2 percent from the floor in the period.

The Blue Raiders shot an impressive 9-of-14 from behind the arc and outscored the Trojans in the paint, 28-20.
