Recap: North Dakota St vs. Western Ill

Fargo, ND (Sports Network) - Terell Parks went for 13 points and 15 rebounds as the Western Illinois Leathernecks took care of the North Dakota State Bison, 49-36, in a low-scoring Summit League showdown at Bison Sports Arena.

Adam Link netted a game-high 14 points for WIU (19-5, 11-2 Summit), which has won three straight contests. Ceola Clark added 10 points and five assists for the Leathernecks.

TrayVonn Wright and Lawrence Alexander had 10 points each to lead the Bison (19-7, 10-4), who shot just 28.3 percent from the floor. NDSU lost for the second time in its last three outings.

NDSU went into intermission with a 22-17 edge after holding the Leathernecks to just 33.3 percent from the field in the first half.

WIU shot 58.8 percent in the second half while limiting NDSU to only three field goals in 22 attempts (.136). The Bison managed 14 second half points, their lowest total for a period this season.

WIU outrebounded NDSU, 35-28, and improved to 7-6 all-time over the Bison.
