Recap: Nebraska Omaha vs. South Dakota St

Omaha, NE (Sports Network) - Jordan Dykstra scored 14 points to go along with a career-high 17 rebounds to lead the South Dakota State Jackrabbits to a 100-82 win over the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks in a Summit League bout at Ralston Arena.

Nate Wolters also registered a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists and Chad White paced SDSU (22-9, 13-3 Summit) with 23 points on 6-of-7 from long range. Tony Fiegen and Brayden Carlson had 14 and 13 points, respectively, and Marcus Heemstra added 10 points off the bench as the Jackrabbits clinched at least a share of the Summit League regular-season title.

Justin Simmons netted 29 points for Omaha (11-19, 6-9) while Alex Welhouse went for 16 and a team-high six rebounds. Matt Hagerbaumer had 10 off the bench on 5-of-5 shooting.

SDSU had its way with Omaha in the opening period, outrebounding the Mavericks 26-10 while hitting 51.4 percent of its shots. The Jackrabbits also made 9- of-10 at the charity stripe and led 51-32 at halftime.

SDSU extended its lead to 71-44 after a Wolters layup with 13:21 remaining in the game. The Jackrabbits shot 65.5 percent from the floor for the period.

The Jackrabbits outrebounded Omaha, 50-24.
