With his performance, Wolters became the first player in program history to score 2,000 career points. He shot 8-of-13 from the field and also swiped three steals for SDSU (14-6, 5-2 Summit), which has won three straight games. The Leathernecks battled back after the break, and they tied the game, 50-50, on a pair of Link free throws with just over three minutes remaining, but the Jackrabbits closed out the contest on a 9-3 run to seal the win.
