Recap: South Dakota St vs. North Dakota St

Brookings, SD (Sports Network) - Nate Wolters poured in a game-high 26 points to lead the South Dakota State Jackrabbits to a 69-53 rout of the North Dakota State Bison in a Summit League tilt at Frost Arena.

Tony Fiegen and Jordan Dykstra added 14 points apiece for SDSU (16-6, 7-2 Summit), which picked up its fifth win in a row.

TrayVonn Wright paced NDSU (16-5, 7-2) with 16 points, Mike Felt tallied 12 points, and Marshall Bjorklund pulled down 13 rebounds. The setback was the second-straight for the Bison.

NDSU was on its way to a season series sweep of the Jackrabbits, as it held a 37-31 halftime lead after shooting 57.7 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes. The Jackrabbits were limited to 39.3 percent shooting before the break.

SDSU found its touch after the intermission and knocked down 57.1 percent of its field goal attempts, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and also 10- of-13 at the free throw line. The Bison lost the second stanza by 22 points thanks to their ice cold 25 percent shooting performance from the floor during the period.

The Jackrabbits outscored NDSU, 16-3, at the free throw line to create a comfortable margin on the scoreboard.
