Recap: Wofford vs. UNC Greensboro

Spartanburg, SC (Sports Network) - Karl Cochran registered a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds as the Wofford Terriers defeated the UNC Greensboro Spartans in a Southern Conference bout at Johnson Arena.

Spencer Collins went 6-of-16 from the floor to tally a game-high 20 points, all in the second half, for Wofford (10-15, 4-8 SoCon) as it collected its second win in a row.

Trevis Simpson paced UNCG (7-16, 5-7) in the loss with 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Spartans took a narrow, 23-21 lead into halftime despite shooting 29.6 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes. Wofford went into the break trailing after it hit just 1-of-7 from 3-point range in the first half.

The Terriers heated up to connect on 44.4 percent of their field goals and forced eight turnovers to come back and win the second half by 11 points. UNCG went 0-of-8 from beyond the arc after the break.

In the contest, Wofford dealt out 10 assists to 10 turnovers while UNCG managed to hand out only seven assists to 13 turnovers.
