Recap: Tennessee vs. Oklahoma State

Bayamon, PR (Sports Network) - Marcus Smart and Le'Bryan Nash each scored 17 points, leading Oklahoma State to a 62-45 victory over Tennessee in the semifinals of the Puerto Rico Tip-off.

Smart added nine rebounds for Oklahoma State (3-0), which escaped the first round Thursday with an overtime victory over Akron and will play for the title on Sunday against North Carolina State.

Trae Golden finished with 11 points and was the lone double-figure scorer for the Volunteers (2-1), who shot a dismal 26 percent and will play in the consolation game on Sunday.

Oklahoma State scored eight straight points to turn a one-point edge into a 16-7 lead with just under 7 1/2 minutes to play in the first half. The Vols followed with the next five to draw within four, but the Cowboys again pulled away and opened a 12-point margin before settling for a 30-19 advantage at the break.

Tennessee, which committed 10 first-half turnovers, never cut its deficit to single digits in the second half and Oklahoma State led by as many as 20.
