Recap: Rhode Island vs. Seton Hall

Uncasville, CT (Sports Network) - Eugene Teague scored 21 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double as the Seton Hall Pirates rallied for a 60-55 victory over the Rhode Islands Rams in the consolation round of the 2012 Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic.

Fuquan Edwin was also in double figures with 12 points for Seton Hall (3-1).

Rhode Island (0-4) got 19 points from Mike Powell and another 12 from Andre Malone.

The Rams shot 48.1 percent from the field including 5-of-9 from 3-point range to take a 32-23 lead into the break.

The Pirates trailed for most of the second half until Fuquan made a layup with 36 seconds remaining that put Seton Hall ahead 56-55. The Pirates then knocked down 4-of-4 free throws down the stretch and Rhode Island missed its only other field goal attempt to give Seton Hall the win.

Seton Hall shot just 39.1 percent from the floor and was outscored 24-12 from the 3-point line. The Pirates made up for that with a 20-5 edge from the free throw line.
