Recap: Bowling Green vs. Alabama-Huntsville

Moon Township, PA (Sports Network) - A'uston Calhoun tallied a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Bowling Green Falcons took down the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers, 68-54, as part of the NIT Season Tip-Off at Sewall Center.

Chauncy Orr added 11 points for Bowling Green (2-3), while Jordan Crawford recorded 10 points and four assists.

For Alabama-Huntsville (3-3), Conner Blasi led with way with 14 points and six rebounds. Wayne Dedrick came off the bench to score 13 points, and Ronnie Mack chipped in 11 points.

The Chargers led by eight with just under nine minutes to play in the first half, but the Falcons ended the frame on a 24-10 run to take a 37-31 lead into intermission.

Bowling Green's field goal percentage decreased from 44.4 percent in the first half to 42.9 percent in the second half, but it never trailed after halftime.

Alabama-Huntsville shot just 40.4 percent from the floor in the game, and it made only seven field goals in the second half.
