Recap: Davidson vs. West Virginia

Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Chris Czerapowicz had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Davidson to a 63-60 win over West Virginia in the semifinals of the Old Spice Classic on Friday.

De'Mon Brooks had 12 points and five steals while Jake Cohen and Clint Mann each netted 11 points for the Wildcats (3-2), who will take on the winner of No. 17 Gonzaga versus Oklahoma in the championship on Sunday.

Juwan Staten had 15 points and Deniz Kilicli notched a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Mountaineers (1-2), who were a dismal 8-of-17 from the free throw line.

West Virginia led 32-30 at the break, but Davidson took a 46-37 lead by the midway point of the second half.

The Mountaineers cut it to 58-57 with one minute left, but Czerapowicz buried a 3-pointer from the corner to put Davidson up by four.

Terry Henderson answered back with a 3-ball to pull WVU within 61-60 with 14 seconds remaining, but Nik Cochran sank a pair of free throws and Staten's 3-point attempt at the buzzer rimmed out as Davidson held on for the win.
