Recap: California vs. Georgia Tech

Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Justin Cobbs scored a game-high 17 points as the California Golden Bears took down the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 68-57, in the semifinals of the DirecTV Classic at Anaheim Convention Center Arena.

Allen Crabbe added 13 points and five assists for Cal (5-0), which will take on Pacific in Sunday's title game. Richard Solomon chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds and Tyrone Wallace netted 11 for the Bears.

For Georgia Tech (3-1), Mfon Udofia put up 16 points, and Kammeon Holsey (14 points) and Marcus Georges-Hunt (11 points) were both effective from off the bench. The Yellow Jackets will play Saint Mary's in the tournament's third- place game.

Cal shot 44.8 percent in the first half, and Georgia Tech shot 48.4 percent, but the squads managed to net just one three-pointer apiece. The Bears took a 34-33 lead into halftime thanks to a quality half at the foul line (7-of-8).

The Yellow Jackets made just 9-of-30 field goals after intermission as Cal pulled away for the double-digit victory.

Cal held a significant advantage on the boards, 41-29.
