Recap: Campbell vs. Northern Ariz

Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Four different players scored in double figures for Northern Arizona as the Lumberjacks downed the Campbell Camels 70-62 as part of the Global Sports Classic at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Gabe Rogers, DeWayne Russell and Gaellan Bewernick each scored 13 points to lead Northern Arizona (2-3). Max Jacobsen chipped in 11 off the bench.

Darren White paced Campbell (2-5) with 17 points. Trey Freeman scored 15 points and handed out seven assists. Marvelle Harris added 12 points and eight rebounds off the bench. Reco McCarter finished with 11 points.

Northern Arizona led 39-28 at the half after shooting 55.6 percent from the filed including makes on 6-of-13 shots from beyond the arc. Campbell fell behind by shooting only 40.0 percent.

The Lumberjacks shots just kept falling in the second half with the team connecting on 56.0 percent of its shots over the final 20 minutes to secure the win.

Northern Arizona outscored Campbell 38-18 on points in the paint and had 19 assists as a team.
