Recap: Weber State vs. North Dakota

Missoula, MT (Sports Network) - Davion Berry scored a game-high 25 points to lead the second-seed Weber State Wildcats to a 76-74 win over third-seed North Dakota in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament at Dahlberg Arena.

Scott Bamforth and Joel Bolomboy each added 13 points for Weber State (24-5) which is making its third trip to the conference finals in the last four seasons. The Wildcats will face the top-seed Montana in the championship.

Troy Huff netted 22 points, Jamal Webb added 13 and Brandon Brekke and Mitch Wilmer each tallied 11 for North Dakota (16-16).

In the first half North Dakota shot a scorching 58.1 percent from the field, including a 4-of-7 effort from beyond the arc. Though Weber State connected on just 41.7 percent from the field it trailed by just a 43-40 margin at the break.

After halftime the Wildcats improved to 51.7 percent shooting while betting 5-of-6 from the free-throw line to rally back and fend off North Dakota.

The two teams combined for just 14 turnovers. Weber State had a 39-31 edge in rebounds and blocked eight shots.
