Recap: Va Military vs. Longwood

Conway, SC (Sports Network) - Stan Okoye led three VMI players in double- figures with 31 points and nine rebounds as the Keydets edged Longwood, 90-86, on Thursday in Big South Conference quarterfinal action.

D.J. Covington had 26 points on 12-of-18 shooting and Rodney Glasgow scored 22 for the second-seeded Keydets (14-16), who move on to face top-seeded Charleston Southern in the semifinals on Saturday.

Michael Kessens scored a game-high 36 points to go along with 16 rebounds for the Lancers (8-25), while Lucas Woodhouse followed with 16 points and nine assists in defeat.
