Recap: Robert Morris vs. St Francis-NY

Moon Township, PA (Sports Network) - Karvel Anderson scored 20 points off the bench to lead the Robert Morris Colonials to a 75-57 win over the St. Francis (NY) Terriers in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference tournament at the Charles L. Sewall Center.

Russell Johnson had 19 points and Lucky Jones netted 16 points for top-seeded Robert Morris (23-9), which advanced to the semifinals to take on Mount St. Mary's. Velton Jones added eight assists.

Jalen Cannon and Dre Calloway tallied 15 and 14 points, respectively, for St. Francis (12-18).

Robert Morris shot 45.2 percent from the floor in the first half while St. Francis hit at just a 33.3 percent clip. The Colonials also forced nine turnovers and led 37-23 at halftime. St. Francis was held scoreless for the final 4:03 of the period.

Coron Williams opened the second period with one of his two 3-pointers to extend the Colonials' lead to 40-23. Robert Morris held the Terriers without a fast break basket in the second half.

Robert Morris outrebounded St. Francis, 38-24.
