Recap: Colorado vs. Oregon State

Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Spencer Dinwiddie scored 20 points as Colorado advanced to the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament with a 74-68 win over Oregon State in a first-round clash from MGM Grand Arena.

Xavier Johnson compiled 16 points and eight rebounds to help the Buffaloes (21-10) avenge a 64-58 home loss to the cellar-dwelling Beavers in Saturday's regular-season finale. Andre Roberson, who missed that contest due to illness, added 12 points and seven boards in his return to the Colorado lineup.

The fifth-seeded Buffaloes will next take on 18th-ranked Arizona on Thursday.

Roberto Nelson put up 20 points for 12th-seeded Oregon State (14-18), with Eric Moreland finishing with 14 along with game highs of 13 rebounds and five blocks.

Colorado ended the first half on a 7-0 run to grab a 32-26 lead at intermission and steadily increased the margin after the break, with a pair of Askia Booker free throws with 2:25 left to play putting the Buffs on top by a 63-52 count.

An 8-2 spurt capped by Moreland's 3-pointer with 1:41 to go brought Oregon State within 65-60, but the Beavers managed just one field goal the rest of the way and Colorado sealed the win by hitting 9-of-14 foul shots down the stretch.
