Recap: Bucknell vs. Navy

Lewisburg, PA (Sports Network) - Mike Muscala registered 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the top-seeded Bucknell Bison to a 58-42 win over the Navy Midshipmen in a Patriot League quarterfinal tilt at Sojka Pavilion.

Joe Willman added 10 points and seven boards for Bucknell (26-5), which will matchup with Army in the semifinals this weekend.

Tilman Dunbar paced Navy (8-23) with nine points.

Muscala, the two-time Patriot League player of the year, was held without a field goal in the first half. However, Bucknell played terrific defense and held Navy to just 16 first half points on 6-of-27 from the field. The Bison also outrebounded Navy, 16-13, and led 26-16 at intermission.

Bucknell went on an 18-5 run early in the second half to take control and avoid the upset.

The Bison knocked down 22-of-24 from the foul line to help lift them to victory.
