Recap: Lehigh vs. Colgate

Bethlehem, PA (Sports Network) - Gabe Knutson shot 8-of-11 from the field for 21 points to lead the Lehigh Mountain Hawks to a 71-64 triumph over the Colgate Raiders in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament at Stabler Arena.

B.J. Bailey added 16 points on 3-of-4 from 3-point range for Lehigh (21-8), which will face off against Lafayette in the semifinals. Holden Greiner chipped in 15 points and eight rebounds for the hosts, while Mackey McKnight dished out nine assists.

For Colgate (11-21), Murphy Burnatowski led all scorers with 23 points, while Chad Johnson came off the bench to tally 12 points and seven rebounds.

Colgate carried a 34-30 lead into intermission by shooting 50 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes.

The Raiders led by seven less than four minutes into the second half before Lehigh ripped off an 8-0 surge to take a one-point lead, and after briefly surrendering that advantage, B.J. Bailey hit what proved to be the game- winning 3-pointer a few minutes later.

Lehigh shot 14-of-19 from the foul line on the night, while Colgate was just 2-of-3.
