Recap: Lafayette vs. Holy Cross

Easton, PA (Sports Network) - Seth Hinrichs scored 20 points as the second- seeded Lafayette Leopards made easy work of the seventh-seeded Holy Cross Crusaders, 77-54, in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Tournament at the Kirby Sports Center.

Tony Johnson added 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Lafayette (18-14), which will take on Lehigh in the semifinals. Joey Ptasinski netted 11 points off the bench for the home team.

For Holy Cross (12-18), Dave Dudzinski tallied 22 points and eight boards, but no one else scored in double figures.

Lafayette shot greater than 61 percent from the field in the first half, as it took a comfortable 45-31 advantage at the break.

The Leopards lead was never in double in the second half, as they led by as many as 29.

Lafayette was on fire from 3-point range, draining 14-of-26 (.538).
