Recap: New Mexico St vs. Texas State

Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Sim Bhullar registered his second career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the third-seeded New Mexico State Aggies to a 74-65 win over the Texas State Bobcats at Orleans Arena to advance to the finals of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.

Renaldo Dixon had 13 points and six rebounds for New Mexico State (23-10) while K.C. Ross-Miller had 12 points and five assists. Remi Barry added 11 points off the bench.

Joel Wright went for 17 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort for Texas State (12-22). Deonte' Jones and Matt Staff netted 16 and 13 points, respectively.

NMSU took care of the ball tonight with just seven turnovers and outrebounded Texas State, 34-31. The Aggies will play Texas-Arlington in the championship round.
