Recap: High Point vs. Morgan State

High Point, NC (Sports Network) - Justin Black notched 20 points and four steals to lead the Morgan State Bears to a 75-68 win over the High Point Panthers in BracketBuster action at the Millis Center.

Blake Bozeman had his first-career double-double for Morgan State (10-14) with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Ian Chiles added 11 points and three blocked shots.

Josh Brown paced High Point (16-11) with 24 points while Allan Chaney scored 16 points to go along with a team-high nine rebounds.

High Point never trailed in the first half and led 34-29 at halftime after shooting 45.5 percent from the floor.

The home team went cold from behind the arc, missing all four attempts in the second half, while Morgan State made 50 percent of its 3-point tries. Trailing 57-43 with 9:43 remaining, the Bears finished the game on a 32-11 run. Bozeman and Black combined to hit 6-of-6 from the foul line late to seal the comeback.

Morgan State won in large part thanks to 16 offensive rebounds which led to 24 second chance points.
