Recap: Wright State vs. Evansville

Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Colt Ryan dropped in 21 points to go with seven rebounds as the Evansville Purple Aces defeated the Wright State Raiders, 70-58, in a BracketBusters affair at the Nutter Center.

D.J. Balentine had 18 points and Lewis Jones tacked on 10 for Evansville (16-13) which had lost four of its previous five games.

J.T. Yoho tallied a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double, Jerran Young chipped in 11 points and Kendall Griffin added 10 points for Wright State (18-10) which had won four of five.

After the break the Purple Aces hit 46.4 percent from the floor, while limiting the Raiders to just nine field goals, to coast to victory.

Evansville outscored Wright State, 32-18, in the paint and had a 37-31 edge in rebounds.
