Recap: Belmont vs. Ohio

Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Ian Clark led the way with 18 points as the Belmont Bruins hammered the Ohio University Bobcats, 81-62, in a BracketBusters matchup at the Curb Event Center

For the Bruins (22-6), Trevor Noack and J.J. Mann each added 17 points, and Kerron Johnson finished with 16 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the free- throw line.

Reggie Keely led the Bobcats (20-7) with 12 points, while T.J. Hall chipped in 10 points.

Belmont took a commanding lead at halftime, 41-24, by shooting 51.9 percent from the field, including 5-of-12 from beyond the 3-point arc. Ohio made only 36 percent of its field goal tries in the half, including just 3-of-13 from 3- point distance.

Belmont pushed its lead to as many as 23 points in the second half as they coasted to victory.

The Bruins outscored the Bobcats in the paint, 36-26, and won the rebounding battle, 35-29.
