Irvine, CA (Sports Network) - Steven Roundtree posted a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds to lift the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles to a 76-62 victory over the UC Irvine Anteaters in the second round of the Tournament at the Mabee Center.

Shawn Glover added 16 points for ORU (20-14), which will take on Weber State in the next round. D.J. Jackson and Damen Bell-Holter scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, to help the Golden Eagles advance.

Will Davis II paced UC Irvine (21-16) with 15 points and Michael Wilder chimed in with 13. Chris McNealy netted 11 points in the setback. The Anteaters' first round victory over High Point was their first postseason victory since the 1986 NIT when they defeated UCLA.

The Golden Eagles took control early on as they used a 14-4 run to take a 20-7 lead by the 8:55 mark. ORU shot 53.6 percent from the field and took a 34-23 lead into halftime despite missing all seven of its 3-point attempts before the intermission. The Anteaters shot 40 percent from the floor but attempted just a single free throw in the opening 20 minutes.

Although the Golden Eagles cooled off to hit just 33.3 percent of their attempts from the floor after the break, they managed to convert 19-of-26 at the charity stripe in the second period to extend their advantage.

ORU held a 43-33 edge in the rebounding battle and dealt out 11 assists to 10 turnovers. UC Irvine finished with 16 assists and the same number of miscues.
