Recap: Georgia vs. Wofford

Athens, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Donte Williams scored 11 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the Georgia Bulldogs cruised to a 72-52 win over the Wofford Terriers in a non-conference tilt at Stegeman Coliseum.

Nemanja Djurisic led all scorers with 12 points for the Bulldogs (1-0), adding seven boards, while Kenny Gaines chipped in 10 points and six rebounds of his own in the triumph.

The Terriers (0-1) were paced by Spencer Collins who dropped in 11 points, but shot just 3-of-10 from the field, followed by Lee Skinner with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Wofford made a total of just eight field goals in the first half on 27 attempts, leaving the visitors with a 39-20 deficit at the break. The Bulldogs made up for only 1-of-6 accuracy behind the 3-point line in the period with 14-of-19 at the free-throw line.

In the second half the Terriers managed to convert 47.8 percent from the field, but at the same time missed on all eight chances on the perimeter, en route to the 20-point setback.

Georgia dominated the Terriers on the glass, 49-24, pulling down 20 at the offensive end alone.
