Recap: Georgia vs. Chattanooga

Athens, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Nemanja Djurisic scored 14 points off the bench as the Georgia Bulldogs eased by the Chattanooga Mocs, 87-56, in a non- conference matchup at Stegeman Coliseum.

Juwan Parker added 11 points and Charles Mann chipped in 10 for Georgia (3-4). Marcus Thornton grabbed nine rebounds to go with eight points as 13 players recorded at least one field goal for the Bulldogs.

Martynas Bareika scored 14 points to pace Chattanooga (3-6) and Eric Robertson tacked on 13.

Georgia dominated in the first half, shooting 59.4 percent from the field while holding Chattanooga to just six field goals. At intermission the Bulldogs had a 47-17 lead.

In the second half the Bulldogs cooled to 42.9 percent from the floor but it was more than enough to hold on for the victory.

Georgia owned the interior with a 54-22 advantage on points in the paint and a 51-38 edge on the boards.
