Recap: Arkansas vs. Louisiana

Fayetteville, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Alandise Harris and his 19 points helped lead the Arkansas Razorbacks to a 76-63 win over the Louisiana Ragin'' Cajuns at Bud Walton Arena.

The Razorbacks (2-0) had three players score in double digits on Friday. Harris hit 7-of-10 shots from the field while Michael Qualls had 16 points and Bobby Portis added 14.

The Ragin' Cajuns (2-1) had the game's leading scorer in Elfrid Payton, who had 27 points. Shawn Long had 12 points and Elridge Moore added 10.

Arkansas had a slim 39-38 lead going into the break. The Razorbacks shot 50 percent from the floor and went 10-of-11 from the free throw line to build up the first period lead. Louisiana struggled from beyond the arc, going 2-of-12, while only shooting 43.8 percent from the field overall but managed to stay in the game.

In the second half the Razorbacks separated themselves from the Ragin' Cajuns by shooting 52 percent from the field. Louisiana went 0-of-5 from 3-point range and shot 36.0 from the field overall. The Razorbacks closed out the game with a 17-3 run that started when they was down by one with 6:09 remaining.

Arkansas dominated in bench points by having the 32-11 edge over Louisiana.
