Recap: Texas A&M vs. Arkansas

College Station, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Davonte Fitzgerald scored 17 points off the bench as the Texas A&M Aggies cruised to a 69-53 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks in Southeastern Conference action at Reed Arena.

Fabyon Harris netted 15 points and Jamal Jones narrowly missed out on a double-double with 14 points and eight rebounds for the Aggies (10-4, 1-0 SEC). Texas A&M has now won two straight and four of its last six.

Rashad Madden scored 12 points to lead Arkansas (11-3, 0-1), while Coty Clarke almost had a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. The Razorbacks had a seven-game winning streak snapped by the loss.

Texas A&M shot 37.1 percent from the field in the first half, including 4- of-9 from 3-point range. Arkansas converted 43.8 percent from the field, but just 3-of-11 from distance, allowing A&M to enter the half with a 35-33 lead.
