Recap: Ole Miss vs. ULM

Oxford, MS (SportsNetwork.com) - Thanks in large part to Marshall Henderson's 26 points, the Ole Miss Rebels dismissed the ULM Warhawks, 75-62, in a non- conference bout at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Henderson shot 6-of-13 from beyond the arc and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line for Ole Miss (8-2), which has won back-to-back games. LaDarius White stuffed the stat sheet for the home team with 13 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

For ULM (3-3), Amos Olatayo scored 17 points, Tylor Ongwae netted 12 points and Jayon James tallied nine points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Neither team shot greater than 35 percent from the field in the opening stanza, but Ole Miss carried a 37-33 lead into intermission by outscoring ULM at the foul line, 13-3.

The Rebels caught fire early in the second half, ripping off a 14-1 run to take a 51-34 lead with 16:52 remaining. The Warhawks never got closer than 13 points of the lead for the rest of the game.

Ole Miss won despite getting outrebounded, 45-33. The big difference came at the stripe, where the Rebels shot 21-of-27. ULM was only 5-of-10 at the foul line.
