Recap: Texas A&M vs. Tennessee

College Station, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Antwan Space buried a 3-pointer with 2.4 seconds to play in overtime, which lifted the Texas A&M Aggies to a 68-65 win over the Tennessee Volunteers in a Southeastern Conference bout at Reed Arena.

Space, who finished with six points and seven rebounds, also hit the game- winning three at the end of regulation when these teams met in Knoxville last month as the Aggies (16-11, 7-7 SEC) completed the sweep of the regular-season series. Alex Caruso (seven assists) and Jamal Jones shared team-high honors with 14 points apiece. Fabyon Harris added 13 points off the bench, and Kourtney Roberson finished with 10.

Jordan McRae led all scorers with 20 points for the Volunteers (16-11, 7-7). Jarnell Stokes racked up 16 points and 16 rebounds, while Jeronne Maymon also recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards.

The game got off to a slow start, as neither team shot better than 40 percent from the field in the opening frame. Tennessee claimed a 27-24 lead at halftime.

The Aggies led by as many as eight with 3:20 to play in regulation. However, the Vols managed to chip away at the deficit, and they eventually sent the game to overtime on a layup by Stokes in the final second of regulation. Stokes was also fouled on the play, but he missed what would have been the deciding free throw.

UT made only one field goal in the extra session, while the Aggies made 3-of-5 attempts from the floor, including Space's final dagger.

Texas A&M committed only eight turnovers for the game and forced 14.
