Recap: Texas A&M vs. Missouri State

Corpus Christ, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Austin Ruder netted 19 points as the Missouri State Bears defeated the Texas A&M Aggies, 73-67, during the semifinals of the Corpus Christi Challenge at the American Bank Center.

Dorrian Williams added 12 points for Missouri State (6-0), which faces Virginia in Saturday's championship game. Emmanuel Addo tacked on 11 points and Jarmar Gulley finished with 10.

Kourtney Roberson tallied 16 points, Jordan Green logged 13 and Antwan Space chipped in 10 for Texas A&M (6-1).

The Aggies led, 29-24, at halftime after holding the Bears to just 23.3 percent shooting over the first 20 minutes.

Missouri State bounced back after halftime, and closed the game out by netting 55.6 percent from the field, including 5-of-13 from beyond the arc, to pull out the victory.

Texas A&M lost despite a 46-22 edge on points in the paint. Missouri State had the advantage on points off turnovers (21-8).
