Recap: Boston College vs. Georgia Tech

Chestnut Hill, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Trae Golden scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to a 68-60 win over the Boston College Eagles in an ACC conflict at Conte Forum.

Kammeon Holsey added 13 points and Chris Bolden tallied 11 off the bench for Georgia Tech (11-8, 2-4 ACC), which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Boston College (5-14, 1-5) was paced by 19 points from Olivier Hanlan and 14 from Lonnie Jackson. The Eagles have dropped three straight.

Georgia Tech shot a scorching 73.9 percent from the floor, including a 6-of-8 showing from beyond the arc, in the first half, to take a 42-27 lead at halftime. Boston College had only nine field goals in the period.

After the break the Eagles shot 46.2 percent from the floor, but it was not enough to catch the Yellow Jackets, who, despite hitting only 32 percent from the floor, knocked down 8-of-9 at the free-throw line to secure the victory.

Georgia Tech won despite having scoring deficits in the paint (26-14) and off of turnovers (13-6).
