The Bears stormed back by hitting on 50 percent of their field goal attempts after halftime. KSU converted only 9-of-27 attempts from the floor including just 2-of-12 from beyond the arc in the second half. After Tevin Svihovec missed a pair of free-throw attempts with nine seconds remaining, KSU missed on a pair of opportunities as Marcus Foster missed a 3-point attempt and Iwundu's jump shot at the buzzer also fell off the mark.
