Recap: TCU vs. Texas Tech

Fort Worth, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Dejan Kravic posted 12 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks, as the Texas Tech Red Raiders bested the TCU Horned Frogs, 60-49, in a Big 12 Conference contest at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Dusty Hannahs scored his team-high 13 points for the Red Raiders (10-8, 2-3 Big 12) on 2-of-4 from the field 7-of-7 from the free throw line. Robert Turner added 12 points and Jaye Crockett collected a game-high 11 boards. The Red Raiders are now on a two-game winning streak after defeating nationally- ranked Baylor earlier in the week (82-72).

Amric Fields led the Horned Frogs (9-8, 0-5) with 15 points and eight rebounds. Karviar Shepherd scored 15 points and grabbed seven boards for the hosts, losers of five in a row.

The first half was a low scoring affair with the Horned Frogs holding a 24-23 lead at the break despite shooting just 20.8 percent from the field. The Red Raiders only hit 30.4 percent of their shots from the floor and made four less free throws in the half.

The Red Raiders scored a basket just 15 seconds into the second half and gained a lead they would not relinquish. The Horned Frogs kept the game close throughout and were down just 51-48 with 1:24 left to play, but the Red Raiders closed the game out with a 9-1 run.

The Horned Frogs' bench produced just two points for the game while the Red Raiders' reserves tallied 15. Both TCU (3-of-21) and Texas Tech (2-of-10) were dreadful from 3-point range.
