Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Markus Kennedy notched a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, as the SMU Mustangs made easy work of the South Florida Bulls, 71-54, in an American Athletic Conference clash at Moody Coliseum.

Kennedy was 8-of-11 from the field and added four steals for SMU (12-4, 2-2 AAC), which has won two of three. Shawn Williams put up 16 points and seven rebounds, while Nic Moore logged 12 points and six assists.

SMU's dominance started early, as it outshot USF from the floor in the first half, 51.9 percent to 28.6 percent, and took a comfortable 38-23 lead into the halftime locker room.

The Mustangs continued their hot field goal shooting in the second stanza (.500), and their lead was never in doubt.
