Recap: Bradley vs. South Florida

Peoria, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Perry scored 18 points to lead the South Florida Bulls over the Bradley Braves, 61-57, in a non-conference tilt at Carver Arena.

For the Bulls (9-4), Victor Rudd added 17 points and Corey Allen, Jr. finished with 11 points and six assists.

Walt Lemon, Jr. led the Braves (5-8) with 17 points and seven assists, while Tyshon Pickett scored 16.

Despite shooting just 40.7 percent from the field in the first half, the Braves had a 30-28 lead going into halftime. USF knocked down 47.8 percent of its field goal tries in the first, including 2-of-8 from 3-point range.

After the break, the Bulls connected on 50 percent of their field goal tries but just 1-of-7 from 3-point distance. The Braves shot 44 percent from the field in the second half and 2-of-7 from beyond the arc. Trailing by five, 54-49, with under five minutes to play, USF finished the game on a 12-3 run to pull out the road victory and snap a two-game losing streak.

USF outrebounded Bradley, 34-28. The Bulls also finished with an 11-3 edge in second-chance points.
