Recap: Arizona State vs. Idaho State

Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Jahii Carson scored 19 points and Jordan Bachynski flirted with a triple-double as the Arizona State Sun Devils rolled to an 88-60 win over the Idaho State Bengals in a non-conference duel at Wells Fargo Arena.

Bachynski had 10 points, 10 rebounds and also blocked six shots for Arizona State (3-0). Jermaine Marshall added 17 points for the Sun Devils.

Evan Hall came off the bench to score 19 points and Andre Hatchett chipped in 11 for Idaho State (1-1).

Arizona State shot an even 50 percent from the field and held Idaho State to just 34.5 percent shooting, including an 0-of-6 showing from beyond the arc, to take a 41-25 lead into intermission.

After the break the Sun Devils lit it up from 3-point range, netting 8-of-16 from beyond the arc, all while shooting 48.1 percent overall, to run away with the decision.

Arizona State outscored the Bengals, 36-6, from 3-point range.
