Recap: Columbia vs. Idaho

Portland, OR ( - Maodo Lo scored 20 points as the Columbia Lions held on for a 65-60 victory over the Idaho Vandals during the final day of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at the Chiles Center.

Alex Rosenberg added 17 points off the bench and Grant Mullins chipped in 13 for Columbia (3-3).

Connor Hill finished with 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting from the floor and Sekou Wiggs tallied 11 points as a reserve for Idaho (3-3).

The Lions went into halftime leading, 25-21, after hitting 43.5 percent from the floor, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc, in the first 20 minutes. The Vandals only shot at a 37.5 percent clip from the field during the period.

After the break the Lions got 20 points from the free-throw line and shot 45 percent from the field to pull out the win.

The Lions enjoyed a 28-14 edge on points in the paint.
