Recap: Arizona State vs. Utah

Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Jahii Carson scored 23 points as the Arizona State Sun Devils rallied for a 79-76 victory over the Utah Utes in a Pac-12 tilt at Wells Fargo Arena.

Jonathan Gilling tacked on 13 points for Arizona State (14-5, 3-3), which ended a two-game slide. Jordan Bachynski contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds and Shaquielle McKissic chipped in 11 points.

Jordan Loveridge scored 22 points and Delon Wright added 21 to lead Utah (14-5, 3-4).

The Utes led by as nine points in the first half, but the Sun Devils were able to enter the break trailing by a score of just 41-37 thanks to baskets from Gilling and McKissic in the final minute of the period.

A 21-11 run to open the second half pushed Arizona State ahead 58-52 with 10:44 to play. The Sun Devils would never trail again, hitting 8-of-12 from the free-throw line in the final four minutes to seal the win.
