Recap: Cornell vs. Columbia

Ithaca, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Cory Osetkowski had a career-high 19 points to go along with nine rebounds and five blocks, as the Columbia Lions claimed a 74-58 win over the Cornell Big Red in Ivy League action at Newman Arena.

Maodo Lo led all scorers with 20 points for the Lions (13-6, 2-0 Ivy), winners of six straight. Alex Rosenberg added 17 points, and Grant Mullins scored 12.

Devin Cherry had a team-high 12 points for the Big Red (1-15, 0-2), while Robert Hatter and Ned Tomic scored 11 apiece in the loss.

Cornell led for most of the first half thanks in part to a 17-4 edge in bench points. The Big Red also made four 3-pointers as they went into the locker room with a 35-32 lead.

However, Cornell was held to 29.6-percent shooting over the final 20 minutes. After attempting only three free throws in the first half, Columbia went 23- of-27 at the charity stripe in the second stanza.

The Lions shot 50 percent from the floor for the game.
