Recap: IUPU-Ft Wayne vs. Dartmouth

Fort Wayne, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Luis Jacobo came off the bench to score 23 points as the IUPU-Fort Wayne Mastodons made easy work of the Dartmouth Big Green, 80-64, in a non-conference clash at Memorial Coliseum.

Jacobo shot 7-of-13 from the field and 6-of-8 from the foul line for IPFW (7-4), which snapped a two-game losing streak. Pierre Bland, Isaiah McCray and Mo Evans each scored 11 points, while Joe Edwards netted 10.

For Dartmouth (3-3), Connor Boehm tallied 15 points and eight rebounds, while Eli Harrison had 12 points on 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

IPFW outshot Dartmouth from the floor in the first half, 56.5 percent to 34.5 percent, as it carried a 40-24 lead into intermission.

The Big Green never got closer than 13 points in the second half, while the Mastodons' advantage swelled to as many as 25.

IPFW shot 19-of-31 from the free-throw line on the night, while Dartmouth was just 8-of-15 from the stripe.
