Recap: Utah vs. Colorado

Salt Lake City, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Loveridge and Delon Wright each finished with a game-high 21 points to lead the Utah Utes over the Colorado Buffaloes, 75-64, in a Pac-12 Conference contest at the Huntsman Center.

For the Utes (19-9, 8-8 Pac-12), Loveridge added seven rebounds and Brandon Taylor dished out six assists.

Josh Scott led the Buffaloes (20-9, 9-7) with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Xavier Johnson chipped in with 10 points in the loss, which was their second in a row.

Utah shot 47.8 percent from the field to open the contest, including 2-of-7 from 3-point range. Despite shooting just 42.9 percent from the field in the first, Colorado connected on 4-of-8 from beyond the arc to keep close. Trailing by eight, 30-22, with just over four minutes left in the first half, the Utes scored the final eight points of the period to knot the score at 30-30 going into halftime.

After the intermission, the Utes connected on a scorching 70.8 percent of their shots from the field while holding the Buffs to a meager 9-of-25 from the field and 3-of-10 from 3-point range. The Utes scored the first nine points of the second half and never looked back as the home team cruised to victory.

The Utes dominated in the frontcourt, outscoring the Buffs in the paint, 38-22, and outrebounding them, 30-27.
