Recap: Fordham vs. Harvard

Bronx, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Siyani Chambers scored 19 points to go with nine assists as the Harvard Crimson beat the Fordham Rams, 94-86, in a non- conference tilt at Rose Hill Gymnasium.

Agunwa Okolie scored 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting in just 15 minutes and Kyle Casey also scored 17 to go with nine rebounds for the Crimson (11-1). Wesley Saunders scored 14 points and Steve Moundou-Missi chipped in 11. Laurent Rivard added 10 points.

Branden Frazier scored 31 points and had seven assists for the Rams (7-5). Jon Severe scored 29 points.

Harvard shot 54.1 percent from the field including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc in the first half. The Crimson took a 43-32 lead into the break. Fordham made 37.1 percent of its field goal tries with just 1-of-8 from 3-point range finding the bottom of the net.

Although the Rams shot 58.8 percent from the floor and 6-of-9 from 3-point range in the second half, Harvard made 58.6 percent of its field goal attempts to maintain its lead.

The Crimson's bench was very strong, outscoring the Rams' reserves, 23-10. Harvard has won seven straight games.
