Recap: UCLA vs. Oregon State

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Adams netted 20 of his 24 points in the second half and UCLA defeated Oregon State, 74-69, on Sunday night.

Kyle Anderson provided 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists for UCLA (22-7, 11-5 Pac-12), which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Adams and Anderson were suspended for Thursday's double-overtime loss to Oregon for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

Roberto Nelson, the Pac-12's leading scorer, had 23 points for the Beavers (15-13, 7-9).

UCLA trailed 42-31 early in the second half before Adams capped a 21-6 run with a 3-pointer for a 59-53 advantage with 7:19 left. The Bruins were never threatened again.

Earlier, Oregon State led 38-29 at the break.

2015 PREVIEW NL EAST: It's the Nationals and everybody else

There isn't much after that. The Miami Marlins are loaded up for a playoff push -- likely through a wild card spot -- and the New York Mets are up-and- coming but still raw. The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies, former powerhouses of the division, are going through rebuilds and won't contend anytime soon.
