Recap: Saint Louis vs. Yale

Saint Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Rob Loe scored 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting as the Saint Louis Billikens routed the Yale Bulldogs, 75-55, in a non-conference matchup at Chaifetz Arena.

Austin McBroom scored 16 points for Saint Louis (13-2) while Jake Barnett added 11. Grandy Glaze brought down six boards and Jordair Jett added seven assists for the Billikens as they stretched their win streak to seven in a row.

Javier Duren paced the Bulldogs (5-7) with 13 points. Nick Victor produced nine points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals as the visitors lost their third in a row.

Saint Louis shot well in the first half, making 51.9 percent of its field goal attempts and hitting 6-of-11 from beyond the arc. The Billikens took a 37-26 lead into the break. Yale shot 50 percent from the floor and 2-of-4 from 3- point range.

The Bulldogs shot poorly in the second period, converting only 1-of-9 from beyond the arc and 38.5 percent from the field. Saint Louis shot 40 percent to coast to victory.

Saint Louis edged the Bulldogs 33-26 on the glass. The Billikens took advantage of Yale's mistakes, outscoring the Bulldogs 28-14 on points off turnovers.
