Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Omar Oraby finished with 17 points on 7- of-8 from the field to help the USC Trojans past the Cal State Northridge Matadors, 95-79, at the Galen Center.

Byron Wesley added 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for USC (1-1) in head coach Andy Enfield's first victory, while Nikola Jovanovic chipped in 11 points. All 12 Trojans who saw action scored at least one field goal.

For CSUN (1-1), Josh Greene paced all scorers with 19 points, but he was just 4-of-15 from the floor. Stephen Maxwell tallied a double-double of 17 points and 12 boards, while Aaron Parks and Tre Hale-Edmerson put up 11 points apiece.

Although the score was tied 21-21 with less than nine minutes to play in the first half, USC outscored CSUN over the rest of the frame, 21-10, as it carried a 42-31 lead into halftime.

The Matadors cut their deficit to just four, 58-54, following a pair of Greene free throws at the 12:22 mark of the second half, but they would get no closer as the Trojans regained control with a 26-7 run.
