Recap: Utah vs. USC

Salt Lake City, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Delon Wright registered 22 points, five assists and six steals as the Utah Utes easily defeated the USC Trojans, 84-66, in a Pac-12 matchup at Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Dakarai Tucker logged 18 points and six rebounds for the Utes (13-4, 2-3 Pac-12). Jordan Loveridge added 16 points and four assists. The Utes ended a two-game losing streak with the win.

Pe'Shon Howard scored 16 points for the Trojans (9-8, 0-4), who lost their fourth straight game. J.T. Terrell chipped in 12 points while Omar Oraby brought down seven boards. Julian Jacobs had six assists.

Utah shot 46.9 percent from the floor in the first period, and took a 39-36 lead into the break. USC converted on 53.8 percent of its field goal tries, but took six fewer shot attempts.

In the second half, the Utes connected on 51.7 percent of their shots from the floor, which proved to be enough to cruise to the win. At the 9:25 mark, Utah went on a 17-7 run to put the team up 20 with 2:25 remaining.

The Utes did a good job of capitalizing on the Trojans' mistakes, as they outscored USC, 27-14, in points off turnovers.
